Braden Langille Rebounds for Second on Day Three at INEX Winter Nationals

Three Atlantic Canadian drivers came home with trophies while one from Western Canada pocketed a checkered flag from Day Three of competition at INEX Winter Nationals.
Austin MacDonald made a last lap pass to pick up his first trophy of the week by finishing third in the Bandolero Outlaw feature. Josh Langille followed suit and picked up fourth on the last lap pass. Michael Cormier finished sixth while Sam Rogers had to rebound from a mid-race incident to finish ninth. Nathan Blackburn rounded out the Atlantic Canadian drivers with an eleventh place finish.
Both Bandolero Bandits from Nova Scotia scored top ten finishes in the 18 car field. Nathan Langille brought his #3 car home in seventh with Owen Mahar taking tenth place.
Nicholas Naugle continued his strong performance at INEX Winter Nationals with a third place finish in the Semi Pro division. Naugle, eventual winner John Holleman and Jensen Jorgensen got tangled up at the front by the end of the first lap after an initial jumped start by Holleman was called back by race officials. Tyler Truex got by Naugle on a late restart with Naugle shadowing Holleman and Truex to the stripe. Cory Hall rebounded from a 14th place qualifying effort to finish 4th with Will Farrell coming home 13th.
Braden Langille made it through the Young Lions Legends feature en route to a second place finish following two tough days to start the week. Waylon Farrell continued his run this week with a strong sixth place finish after spinning during the 25-lap event.
In the Masters division, Calgary, Alberta’s Ira Laughy drove to his first win of the week ahead of Tim Brockhouse and Scotty Edwards. Laughy runs a TCM sticker and is the first driver this season to win with the sticker on his car. Phil Fowler finished in 19th position, one lap down to the leader Laughy. Gary Bursey withdrew for the week following Tuesday’s action with a blown motor.
INEX Winter Nationals continues on Thursday with Day Four of competition.
