2016 INEX Winter Nationals Race Day Format Released

US Legend Cars International and INEX have released the race day formats for the 2016 INEX Winter Nationals at Orlando Speedworld in Orlando, Florida. The event kicks off Sunday with practice and features five consecutive days of racing – Monday, February 15th to Friday, February 19th.

Practice will take place on Sunday from 11am to 4pm with pit gates opening at 7am. On race day, pit gates open at 7am, practice and qualifying begins at 9:45am with features set to roll by 12:15pm. A full schedule is below and is subject to change without notice.

A total of 14 teams from Atlantic Canada are expected to be a part of the week long event. Expected entries include Legend drivers Braden Langille (Shubenacadie, NS), Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS), Cory Hall (Jolicure, NB), Waylon Farrell (Conception Bay South, NL), Will Farrell (Conception Bay South, NL), Phil Fowler (St. John’s, NL) and Gary Bursey (Moncton, NB). Bandolero entries Josh Langille (Coldbrook, NS), Nathan Langille (Coldbrook, NS),  Sam Rogers (Lower Onslow, NS), Owen Mahar (Hubley, NS), Austin MacDonald (Pictou, NS), Nathan Blackburn (Timberlea, NS), Michael Cormier (Grand-Barachois, NB). The list includes 2015 INEX Canadian East Champions (Hall, MacDonald), track champions (Josh Langille – Scotia Speedworld, Braden Langille – Scotia Speedworld, Waylon Farrell – Eastbound Park) and 2015 Winter Nationals Bandolero champions (Braden Langille – Outlaw, Nathan Langille – Beginner Bandit), among other accomplishments among the group.

RACE DAY FORMAT – INEX WINTER NATIONALS

Format subject to change without notice; times are just suggested times races will run earlier if possible.

7am – Gates Open
8am – Registration Opens
9am – Driver’s Meeting – Random Roll Call
11:30am – Registration Closes

9:45am – Practice/Qualifying Begins – Five (5) Laps per group (Practice by Race Order)
12pm – Practice/Qualifying Ends

12:12pm – Invocation/National Anthem
12:15pm – Feature Racing Begins

Young Lions – 30 Laps
Beginner Bandit – 20 Laps
Semi Pro – 30 Laps
Bandit Feature – 20 Laps
Masters Feature – 30 Laps
Outlaw Feature – 20 Laps
Pro Feature – 30 Laps

**Track will be available for rent Sunday to Thursday approximately 30 minutes after the last race, see Shannon in the Legends Cars of Florida parts trailer to pay.
