Tim’s Corner Motorsports has confirmed intention from over a half dozen teams planning on making the trek south, including 2015 INEX Canadian East Semi-Pro Legend champion Cory Hall of Jolicure, New Brunswick. Hall is currently the only Maritime Legend driver confirmed to run the event while Newfoundland’s Eastbound Park is expected to be represented by Phil Fowler and the Farrell brothers, Waylon and Will. Waylon Farrell is the 2015 Eastbound Park Hanlon Realty Legends champion.
Gary Bursey, who is from Moncton, New Brunswick but spends his winter months near Sebring, Florida, is a mainstay in the Masters division in the week long event.
Austin MacDonald, the 2015 INEX Canadian East Bandolero Bandit champion, should be tough in his second INEX Winter Nationals appearance, but will be joined alongside Josh Langille, whom he battled all season long for the championship. Josh’s younger brother Nathan, who won the 2015 INEX Winter Nationals Beginner Bandit title, will also be making a repeat appearance in Orlando. Hubley, Nova Scotia’s Owen Mahar will also make a return trip to INEX Winter Nationals.
Nathan Blackburn, a winner at Scotia Speedworld this past season will make his US debut in his #44 car during INEX Winter Nationals. He will be joined by “The Flying Frenchman” Michael Cormier of Grand-Barachois, New Brunswick as newcomers to Florida Speedweeks. Rumors also hold that Dylan Dowe of Bedford, Nova Scotia may be making the trip down as well.
Tim’s Corner Motorsports will have complete coverage from INEX Winter Nationals, including updates throughout the event, along with complete pre and post event coverage along with wrap ups from each day. With this event being the first chance for drivers to get 2016 INEX points, the competition is slated to be stacked throughout the five days of racing.
