Ferron Wins “Survival of the Fittest” Demolition to Close Miramichi Season

Jeff Ferron went the distance on Saturday afternoon in Miramichi to survive the final Demolition event of the season.

Ferron was the last car rolling in his #105 Pontiac to take the Survival of the Fittest Enduro/Demolition finale at Speedway Miramichi. What started off as a rolling Enduro race was turned into a Demolition when the field was dwindled to six cars and Ferron was able to top a hard hitting Stephane Poirier and Pro Stock regular Brady Creamer for the win.

Brad MacLean’s car was able to pick up a couple wins on the day, taking home the Dash for Cash in his own car while Kevin Carroll drove it home to the win in the Backup Race.

Manon Sivret, driving Shawn Sisk’s #06 car, was the winner of the Powder Puff. Track owner Barry Richard topped Atlantic Modified Tour driver Doug Matchett in the Staff race.
