Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame 10th Anniversary Induction Saturday, October 17th

DARTMOUTH, NS (September 30, 2015) – Tickets are still available for the 10th anniversary celebration of the annual induction ceremony to the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame. The gala event on October 17 will both honour the Class of 2015 and commemorate all those inductees before them, 102 in total counting this year.
To mark the special occasion the event is being held for the first time in Nova Scotia at the Holiday Inn Harborview in Dartmouth. MMHF organizers have also produced a special edition book that includes biographies for all the Maritime motorsports legends that have been enshrined in the hallowed hall since its beginning. As such several alumni are expected to be in attendance, offering race fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be surrounded by the who’s who of regional motorsports royalty, with the chance to meet or greet them before or after the induction ceremony.
The Class of 2015 includes, from Nova Scotia, Stan Dicks, Mike MacKenzie, Pat & Linda Neal, George Sheppard, and the Classic Chevy Club of Nova Scotia; and from New Brunswick, Norman Keirstead, Steven Patriquin, and Richard Wood; and from Prince Edward Island, Barrie Poole and Wade MacKinnon. Other inductees expected include Ernie & Winona McLean, Paul Forgrave, Rollie MacDonald, Jim Hallahan, Alex Kilpatrick, Don Woolridge, Bob Yuille, Greg Sewart, Glen Hoar, Earl Doucette, members of the New Brunswick Antique Club, the Luxor Shriners Club, the Moncton Speed & Custom Club, and the Moncton Motorsport Club.
Tickets for the event are in limited supply at a cost of just $80.00 per person which starts at 5 p.m. with a meet and greet, dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the induction ceremony and a reception. Dress is formal.
