Shawn Turple dethroned the “King of Petty” Saturday night.

Turple won the Mike Stevens Memorial Pro Stock 150 on Saturday night by outrunning Jonathan Hicken in the late stages of the race. Hicken battled with Shawn Tucker at the end for second, with the two swapping the spot twice in the last lap. The #5 edged the #0 for the spot.

Dylan Blenkhorn led the first 76 laps of the race, including the EIT Race Radios Halfway Award, before fading back in the second half with a tight race car.

Meanwhile, Chris Duncan sealed up the Petty Raceway track championship by finishing ahead of Ken MacKenzie Sr.

Devin Snell took the NAPA CMax Sportsman 100 going away over Luc Bourgeois and champion Russell Smith Jr. Bourgeois appeared to have the faster car on a long green flag run in the race, but was caught by a late race caution. Smith Jr took the second spot away from the #88, which Bourgeois had to earn back late in the race.

Twenty-seven cars started the Pro Stock 150, while 16 took the green flag in the Sportsman feature after three broke during the afternoon’s practice and qualifying.

Complete results available in the morning as made official by the track.
