Adam Meehan and Kyle MacMillan will extend their point leads after big wins tonight on Hydraulics Plus Night at Scotia Speedworld.

Meehan captured the Bandolero main feature presented by Hydraulics Plus as he held off charges from sophomore Craig MacDonald and Braden Langille. MacDonald and fourth place Luke Ettinger did not pass technical inspection, giving third in the feature post race to Cole Tanner.

MacMillan held off an early charge from Stevie Lively and would eventually pull away from the 2010 Thunder car champ to take the win in the ACE Lumbermart Thunder division. Drew MacEachern was unofficially third as he beat Dave Matthews to the stripe.

A field of 19 took the green flag in the Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman Series with Darren Wallage making an outside pass on Chris Dingle with six laps to go to take the win. Defending champion Aaron Boutilier finished third while Harry Ross White fell to fourth after dominating the first half of the 38 lap feature.

Rookie Robbie Watts took his first career win in the Coors Light Truck division after outrunning Larry Vaughan and Dan Smith in the six truck feature. Technical inspection found a mechanical issue with the #08 truck, relegating Vaughan to the rear of the order and point leader Ryan Goldsmith to third.

Danny Harvey was scored as the winner of the Strictly Hydraulics Legends division, edging out a hard charging Cole Butcher, who came from third and passed Danny’s uncle Cy Harvey on the outside and was at the outside of the #4 car at the checkers. “The Legend” finished third in the feature.

The Weekly Racing Series returns next week with Molson Coors Night, featuring five of the Weekly Racing Series division at the Speedworld, sans the Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman Series, who will have the night off. The action on June 14th goes green at 7pm.
