Pro Stock fans will see several new faces in the Speedway 660 roster this season including Sarah McKay, from the Parts For Trucks Pro Stock Tour, Shawn Warren, up from Sportsman and Ryan Messer, the 2016 Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman champion.
“We’re really excited to be part of the McLaughlin Roof Trusses race team and becoming a team-mate with seven time Speedway 660 champion Greg Fahey” Messer said. “Winning the Sportsman title last season was a dream come true, but now we have this great opportunity to drive a Pro Stock and race alongside the best short-track drivers in the Maritimes.”
Speedway 660 has a fantastic schedule lined up for race fans this season, including the Tim’s Corner Motorsports Bandolero Spring Shootout on Sunday, May 28th. The Pro All Star Series 200 highlights action on June 3rd, the first night race of the season. The schedule runs through SpeedWeekend on September 1st to 3rd.
“We’re excited to have the PASS Tour back on the schedule this year and we expect a strong field of cars from both the United States and Canada” said Roy. “The top three American and top three Canadian finishers in our PASS 200 will qualify for the Oxford 250 on August 27th, so we expect a strong car count up here in early June for that big race.”
